ALLIOUAGANA COMMUNE BOOK CLUB
We welcome you to this community of writers and readers who are lovers of books about the Caribbean experience, and particularly about Alliouagana, the indigenous name for the Emerald Isle of the West, Montserrat. The Alliouagana Commune was started in 1972 in Montserrat as part of a cultural revival of the early seventies, around the time of the first Alliouagana Festival, and the first Carifesta festival in Guyana.

Members will receive regular complimentary copies of select books published or sponsored by the Commune, but are encouraged to purchase books of member authors and volunteer to give feedback by way of reviews, blogs, email, facebook etc.
