Wadabagei: A Journal of the Caribbean and its Diasporas
WADABAGEI. A JOURNAL OF THE CARIBBEAN AND ITS DIASPORAS

Since 1998, the Caribbean Diaspora Press Inc, in collaboration with the Caribbean Research Center, has established a refereed journal to fill a widely perceived void in the field of Caribbean migration.  In relatively short time, the journal managed to achieve name recognition among researchers and students focusing on Caribbean Studies, diaspora and migration studies, post-colonial studies, etc.  Wadabagei is a multi-disciplinary journal publishing scholarly articles and creative works on the Caribbean and its Diasporas.  In this endeavor, it places special emphasis on the acculturation of Caribbean people in the United States, Canada and Europe. Wadabagei has an international editorial team of scholars and educators, including a number of highly acclaimed creative writers and artists such as E. Kamau Brathwaite, George Lamming, and Merle Hodge, inter alia.  Past issues have put a special focus on current issues of migration, literature, literary production,  popular culture and conflict in the region and its Diasporas.
