MONTSERRATIAN MINISTERS
This page is a listing of ministers of religion born in Montserrat who have served either in their homeland or elsewhere.
It includes ministers of all Christian denominations that have operated on the island and dates back to the early twentieth century at the time of the rise of local lay preachers to independent ministry outside the established churches - Roman Catholic, Anglican or Methodist. The wave of evangelistic revivals that impacted the island gave rise to congregations of the Pentecostal, Pilgrim Holiness, Seventh Day Adventist and Jehovah's Witness faiths. Many who migrated to the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada started their independent churches to serve their growing immigrant communities. Others joined established congregations to revitalize waning memberships and cater to the new immigrant population.
